Wreck-It-Ralph can use this thread to question all of the finalists.

What’s up people. I want all of you to inform me on what the best video game ever made is, in your own opinion. If you’re not much of a gamer, I can settle for television. Go!

I'm kinda split on this and a couple of others (most importantly, Divinity Original Sin 2) but I'll go with:
It's a detective game that makes you feel more like you're actually figuring figuring things out than any other game I've ever come across - you have to figure out the identity of every crew member along with what/who killed them and how (or whether they survived). It has a fantastic mechanic of going back in time to a freeze frame of the moment of a person's death, and being able to walk around and examine that moment in detail.
It has amazing music and a really cool art style in addition to that, but what carries the whole thing is the setting. It has some pretty 'woah' moments that I still can't really get over this long after having played it.

(I'd go more into detail but much more into detail would spoil it and I seriously recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it; the less you've heard about it, the better)

That's a very good game choice, as is the other Reep mentioned. I'm torn between a few like Analogue: A Hate Story, Long Live the Queen, Sunless Sea, but I think I'm going to give my best recommendation this time to Orwell. It's not a very complicated game, but the aesthetics are great, and I really enjoy the mechanics of grabbing information bytes that open up more of the story and what all is happening. It's a really nice little game that I keep hoping to find more like it out there.

People are coming to playyyy with these choices. An absolutely fantastic selection. However, I want to choose an answer from the heart. A game that I adored as a kid and poured countless hours into. That game is Zubo. It has elements of something like Pokemon. You travel these various areas collecting Zubos to fight in your team. Combat is simultaneously turn based RPG, and the effectiveness of your moves is rhythm based. It's adorable, fun, addictive and a huge part of my childhood.

Ralph!
I am going to go with the Phoenix Wright series since that was the game I most recently played. It is a puzzle game that is not too easy, not punitively difficult, and has some of the most fun stories that I have seen in a story-driven game. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but it is able to take dark and interesting turns to keep you on your toes. I highly recommend it.

Mhmm, I see, yes. That question had absolutely nothing to do with anything and won't affect my vote, but thanks for the recommendations anyway, guys!
Stop me if this has already been asked, but on a scale of 1-10, how confident are you that if you go to the final challenge, that you'll actually WIN?

I think I have a solid 50% chance of winning, Jeff.
For serious I would put my confidence at around a 6 or 7. I have been performing a lot better than usual with challenges, and I would love for an opportunity to test them at the end.

I'm going to say 8, I tend to be able to clutch out when I need to, and I'm pretty confident I'm going to end up on a solid team if I get there.

Stop me if this has already been asked, but on a scale of 1-10, how confident are you that if you go to the final challenge, that you'll actually WIN? Depends who would be there with me. If Sorsha gets through and it's Pua/Edward/Reep against Trebek/Sorsha/Megara, I'd give it a 5. If it's Queen in that slot, it's a 6; if it's Naveen, I'd give it a 7.5.
I think I'm a strong enough competitor that I'd never be less likely to win than to lose. However, I am realistic and Trebek/Sorsha are both strong players.

Sorry, it's been a very busy weekend.
I'm feeling about 7 confident in winning. The people already at the finale are good challenge people in different ways as are the other finalists. We just don't know what this final challenge is but so far a lot of the challenges I've seen before and have an idea on how to play. And in a team I feel more confident in my chances overall.

mhmmm thank you all for your answers. Queen, you're a good friend, Reep, you're a strong player, Sorsha, you're excellent at survival, Naveen, you sure do exist. Goodbye everyone.
