I think we're probably getting Queen and Sorsha here. It's really a shame the game's most strategic player has no chance at all and will also have to sit there while everyone tries to burn him better than the last person.

I'll admit I'm mostly just sour grapes about reep because I love him and his schtick is so cute

Cheep played arguably the strongest game in terms of appealing to a jury

As it currently stands:
Sorsha-2 votes Queen-2 Votes Reep-1 Vote Naveen-1 Vote
only 3 of the 7 jurors have voted thus far, and there's still some room.

Unless a vote change happens, Air Bud's vote doesn't matter and Queen & Sorsha are final 2 peeps.

I had trouble not voting Reep instead of Sorsha tbh, but in the end it went back to quality of opening speech.

I was open to being convinced. If Queen didn't put the effort she did, I probably would have switched the Naveen vote to Reepicheep when he didn't submit a closing speech. (Is he okay btw? I notice his confessional is private)
The whole point of the jury thread is to make backstabbing a more dangerous thing to do. I've voted people that stabbed me in the past, but in a setup like this, I wasn't convinced it was necessary to play that way, and of course I'd vote for Sorsha before them. I genuinely don't think this was a toxic jury, but maybe we were if Naveen quit the site. :/

I think ID'ing probably isn't going to be a problem anymore so I can say this properly now...
Last time I was in front of a jury, I played pretty much the exact same game as this. Difference was I was there with two players who hadn't really been able to do anything for the last half of the game, so I had a shot at getting votes for being the only person there who had driven things if I could convince people not to hate me for stabbing them in the back and removing them from power.
I went all out in my opener and in most of the jury phase trying to play up that I'd played this great game and that the fact I'd removed them all from power and sent them packing was evidence as to how strong my game was, and how much I was in control through the whole thing. And while I was doing that I was feeling the jury votes slip away. In the end I decided to apologise for being ruthless and say that sending home certain jury members who were very upset had been a mistake, and that won all but one of them over.
So, going into this one, I saw it was pretty much exactly the same situation and figured I'd just start by doing that, avoid the whole stage where I made the jury hate me more by restating things that they already knew. To be honest, I don't think there was any way I could have won a vote here (I'd stabbed hard enough that the jury didn't really care about strength of game, I was pretty much just russel hantz) but clearly that was not a good opener. I guess it doesn't seem like a real apology if it happens at the start?

It appears Meg/Queen/Sorsha want to be a team and that Pua/Edward/Trebek will be the other team. This, assumes, Trebek and Edward agree. It just appears that's how it'll break down.

I think we're probably getting Queen and Sorsha here. It's really a shame the game's most strategic player has no chance at all and will also have to sit there while everyone tries to burn him better than the last person. Was he though? He had absolutely no power in the final 2 rounds because of the decisions he made and had to buy off all the votes. If we're going strictly based off strategy, than Queen was much better positioned in the end. And Sorsha had to survive being an easy target because of a throwaway vote round 1 so she clearly was strategic. I'd argue it's not a good strategy to stab players without substantial gain in a game with a JURY.

I'm genuinely not bitter at Reepicheep right now. I love that guy and his obvious ID. I'm not bringing this up again to pester Reep, more because I feel I need to defend myself since apparently some people weren't happy we didn't give Reep a free pass.

Ook I should say I don't usually get emotionally attached to what's happening in games at all (at least negatively, I'm very much an 'ah well, I'm glad I had the experience' kind of person) but I haven't really been on the end of a jury determined to make me lose before and I can see why people can get broken by them. Reading some spec stuff and Pua's confessional was much needed after that

Reep, I wanted to so that I'm really sorry for not voting you, it isn't because you stabbed me in the back it's because for this particular game mode I didn't think it was necessary, I put in my reasoning that if this was a Survivor game then you'd 100% have my vote, I love a good blindside and I love Big moves but I felt that realistically as a group Rich Bitches could've all made it to the final 6 if we stuck together (barring from any members list from challenges)
Funnily enough looking through the confessional it seems like everyone wanted me gone anyway haha
I'm a bit disappointed in Pepe tbh because they said that you were the main part of breaking up Rich Bitches but looking at Pepes confessional paints a different picture

I guess all I can say is I'm sorry if I disappointed anyone with my choices. I genuinely thought Sorsha played a good game when I voted her, but maybe I should have voted for Reep after thinking about it more.
Lets just focus on enjoying the final challenge though. After reading Pua's confessional I would be totally okay with her winning. I'm sad I literally never met her all game lol.

@zack I did read up on the reasoning and I appreciate it even though I'm still going to disagree, I think my reasons for going after RC were solid But I don't think we're ever going to agree on that. I don't think anyone should regret voting where they did, I did play a horrible game in terms of jury management with the intention of avoiding the jury completely and I'm fine with that having come back to bite me. I'm 100% rooting for Pua in this final. I know it's seriously hypocritical of me seeing as I was all about best endgame but Edward trying to ditch him like that changed my view on him a bit and is making me root for Pua even more than I already was (if that's possible).

Pua gets points in my book for having such a big confessional. It boggles my mind there were some people in this game for damn near two months and had confessionals that looked like an inactive first boot’s

It's not like I was expecting much though, even Megara's couple of posts every round were enough for me!

This made me sad! It looks like maybe he's backtracking now that Pua is insisting on wanting to be with him at least. I haven't done a deep analysis of who actually did the best in challenges throughout the game, but I have a feeling Meg is going to be a weak link on whatever team she's on (sorry Meg!), whereas Pua hasn't really been a liability on any team challenges I can remember. So I don't think it'd even be a good move for Edward to try and get on that team.

We can agree to disagree haha, I suppose it made the game more interesting, I think it would've been boring if the Rich Bitches steamrolled to the final Also I was super nieve in this game, like my whole game was just, "oh there's no reason not to trust Rich Bitches, we should be a super tight alliance" Lol also I was damn so snakey all game and I'm sorry haha, I feel like that what I need to work on with LSGs, I'm very good at strategy, I'm just terrible at getting the plans sorted without players not trusting me haha

I already thought Edward had the worse game out of the final 8. I think his posts in the team selection thread prove that.
