With the endgame rapidly approaching, winning money is more important than ever. Let's see who you'll be relying on to win you the big bucks this round. Captained by Prince Naveen, the Lavender Team consists of Pua and Megara. Captained by Sorsha, the Teal Team consists of Dog with a Blog and and Alex Trebek. Captained by Prince Edward, the Cyan Team consists of Queen of Hearts and Wreck-It-Ralph. Captained by Air Bud, the Maroon Team consists of Reepicheep and Nick Wilde. People are always trying to sneak into our Disney theme parks after dark. Is it because they want to steal our trade secrets? Is it because Florida has a rising homeless population and we throw away all the food cooked in a day that doesn't get eaten? Who can say? Regardless, we're working on a new feature for Tomorrowland that doubles as a security system. And we need you to help us test it.
We've built a futuristic art installation to place along the border of Tomorrowland. It's basically a wall, but it doubles as a maze. You've been divided into 4 teams of 3, and you'll be working together to make it through the maze. This isn't an ordinary maze, however; it's a maze that's split into 9 quadrants, each with the ability to be rotated in 90-degree increments. When your team is ready, you'll be given a link to a Google drawing. The drawing will consist of 9 square images, each making up a part of the maze. Your task is to rotate each of those pieces until you can find a configuration where a path can be drawn from the marked starting point to the marked end point of the maze without crossing through any walls or exiting the maze. There is an intended solution, but you may be able to find a solution different than ours; any solution that satisfies the rules we've laid out is a valid one. Once you'll found a valid solution, draw the math and screenshot it for a mod. If you're correct, your time will be stopped. If your solution has errors, you'll be told to continue until you reach a valid solution. Your solution MUST pass through all 9 quadrants of the maze. You have 48 hours to complete the challenge. Teams will be ranked by how quickly they finish the challenge, taking home the following prizes from fastest to slowest: - 1st place: $3,200 each
- 2nd place: $2,000 each
- 3rd place: $1,000 each
- 4th place: $300 each

To clarify, you won't need to move the images around or use image editing software. Within the google drawing, you can right click on each quadrant and select "rotate"

I think forcing math on us means this security system is going to be successful.

There were many possible solutions for this challenge, but let's see one of them! In last place... The Cyan Team were stopped as they went over the 3rd place team's time. In 3rd place... The Lavender Team finished in 1 hour, 7 minutes. In 2nd place... The Teal Team finished in 36 minutes. In 1st place... The Maroon Team finished in 28 minutes.
The elimination challenge will be posted shortly. You still have until the original deadline to use your team chats and to make your Phase I decisions.
