Let's see those new fresh teams! The Teal Team consists of Pua (captain) and Reepicheep. The Red Team consists of Buzzy (captain) and Zack and Cody. The Purple Team consists of Megara (captain) and Pixar Lamp. The Navy Team consists of Dr. Doofenshmirtz (captain) and Prince Edward. The Green Team consists of Pepé the King Prawn (captain) and Queen of Hearts. The Blue Team consists of Rapunzel (captain) and Dog with a Blog. The Lavender Team consists of Yzma (captain) and Nick Wilde. The remaining teams were randomized. The Brown Team consists of Prince Naveen and Winnie the Pooh. The Yellow Team consists of Alex Trebek and Wreck-It-Ralph. The Maroon Team consists of Air Bud and Anne Boonchuy. The Orange Team consists of Sorsha and Kristoff. We're working on building a museum that showcases characters from all our classic animated movies. Unfortunately, the portraits have all gotten mixed up, and we need you to run through the mess and pick up one portrait from each movie, in chronological order.
You've been divided into 11 teams of 2 for this challenge, and your only private group chat during this phase will be with your teammate. When you're ready to begin, you'll be presented with a grid of character portraits. You'll need to move horizontally, vertically, and diagonally between pictures, drawing a path that connects one character from each animated classic on this list, starting at the top left with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and ending at the bottom right with Ralph Breaks the Internet. There's a catch, however - one member of the team will receive the top half of the image, while their partner will receive the bottom half. You are prohibited from sharing any portion of your image with your partner. However, you are encouraged to coordinate as much as you can. To submit and share your progress with your teammate, retrace your lines over the blank grid below using image editing software.Outside sources ARE allowed and encouraged.Once you believe you've come up with a path that goes through every movie on the given list in chronological order only once, post it with an indication that it's your final submission. The team whose path extends the farthest from either the beginning or the end without making a mistake will win, with ties broken by time. Prize money will be distributed as follows: - 1st place: $2,500 each
- 2nd place: $2,000 each
- 3rd place: $1,500 each
- 4th place: $1,250 each
- 5th place: $1,000 each
- 6th place: $800 each
- 7th place: $600 each
- 8th place: $400 each
- 9th place: $300 each
- 10th place: $200 each
- 11th place: $100 each
You have 48 hours to finish.

Are we allowed to tell our partners what characters we have? I'm not quite understanding where the restriction draws the line.

You're allowed to say your characters and what movies they're from, or describe their appearance! You just can't share any portion of your image.

You get to choose which teammate receives the top half of the image and which one receives the bottom half.

So are we sharing one grid per team? If so, do we choose who does the submission? And I imagine the submission is done with a completely blank grid.

Are we allowed to cite the actual locations of our pictures? Like, if the second box on the bottom row of my grid was a picture of Pascal, could I say "There's a Pascal on the second box of my bottom row", or would I have to refer to him as a "green chameleon", or am I not allowed to refer to the actual location at all?

Only one member of your team will make the submission, but you can decide which one.
You’re free to use exact character names and exact locations, you just can’t share any portion of your image with your teammate.

So basically you just can't literally share the image with each other, is what your saying? And you're free to describe it however you like as long as it's just in writing?

First, let's see what both halves of the grid look like put together. And what was the solution? Now for the results. In 11th place, with the longest correct segment of path going through 29 squares... The Yellow Team. In 10th place, with a score of 31... The Brown Team. In 9th place, with a score of 34... The Red Team. In 8th place, with a score of 54... The Purple Team. Everyone else got a perfect score. In 7th place, with a time of 3 hours, 25 minutes, 31 seconds... The Maroon Team. In 6th place, with a time of 1 hour, 56 minutes, 6 seconds... The Lavender Team. In 5th place, with a time of 1 hour, 41 minutes, 14 seconds... The Orange Team. In 4th place, with a time of 1 hour, 39 minutes, 32 seconds... The Blue Team. In 3rd place, with a time of 1 hour, 14 minutes, 25 seconds... The Teal Team. In 2nd place, with a time of 1 hour, 11 minutes, 11 seconds... The Navy Team. In 1st place, with a time of 59 minutes, 8 seconds... The Green Team. Congratulations!
The next elimination challenge will be posted shortly.
