Your team captains for this challenge are Yzma and Prince Naveen! What teams did the choose?
The Olive Team led by Yzma consists of Buzzy, Dog with a Blog, Hank Hill, Nick Wilde, Prince Edward, Pua, Queen of Hearts, Sphero, WALL-E, Winnie the Pooh, Wreck-It-Ralph, and Zack and Cody.
The Cyan Team led by Prince Naveen consists of Air Bud, Alex Trebek, Anne Boonchuy, Darth Maul, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Kristoff, Megara, Pepé the King Prawn, Pixar Lamp, Rapunzel, Reepicheep, and Sorsha.
Paging Kim Possible, this is Wade! Several years back we had an interactive Kim Possible game in Disney World where park attendees could be a secret agent and have clues sent to their phones, and now we're trying to bring it back. We need you to test the game for us.
Today, you'll be playing Decrypto in 2 teams of 13. Each team will have a set of 4 codewords known by the whole team. The captain and first 3 players drafted for each team will act as Encryptors for the team, and each of them will have a 3-digit code to communicate to their team using clues that relate to the 4 codewords.
The Encryptors for Olive are: Buzzy, Nick Wilde, Yzma, and Zack and Cody.
The Encryptors for Cyan are: Megara, Pixar Lamp, Prince Naveen, and Reepicheep.
For Part 1 of the challenge, the 4 Encryptors will be given the 4 codewords and the list of 3-digit codes in the order they'll need to be given. All the codes will contain some combinations of the numbers 1-4, corresponding to the team's 4 numbered codewords. First, the team captain will determine which Encryptor will be assigned which 3-digit code, also determining the order in which they'll go. Then, the Encryptors will all discuss their codes and determine the clues each Encryptor will give for their code.
For example, if a team's 4 codewords were (1) Red (2) Paper (3) Pumpkin (4) Gun, and the code was 4-3-1, the clues given could be Shoot, Spice, Apple.
For Part 2 of the challenge, the 9 members of each team who aren't Encryptors will be attempting to guess both the codes of their own team and the codes of the opposing team. Players will know the 4 codewords belonging to their own team, but won't know the opposing team's words. When a player is ready, they'll be given the first set of clues for their own team as well as the first set of clues for the opposing team, and will have to make a guess at the 3-digit codes corresponding to both. If you miss your own team's code, the opposing team earns a point. If you correctly guess the opposing team's code, your team earns a point. After guessing at both codes, you'll be told what the right answers were, and then you'll move onto the second set of clues. This continues until you've guessed at all four codes for each team.
When making your first guess at the opposing team's code, you won't have any information with which to make that guess, but as you move onto later codes, you'll be able to use the clues from prior rounds to infer what the codewords might be.
The Encryptors may not discuss the challenge with the rest of their team, and no discussion about the challenge amongst non-Encryptors is allowed.
The team that has the most points at the end of the challenge will win, and all its members will win $1,000.
In addition, for every player on an Encryptor's team who guesses the Encryptor's code correctly, the Encryptor wins $20. For every player on an Encryptor's team who guesses their code incorrectly, the Encryptor loses $20 from his total winnings for the challenge. For every player on the opposing team fooled by the Encryptor, the Encryptor wins $10. If an Encryptor successfully gets all of their team's players to guess their code correctly while fooling all of the opposing team, that Encryptor gets a bonus of $100.
For every code a guesser gets right that belongs to his own team, the guesser wins $50. For every code a guesser gets incorrectly that belongs to his own team, the guesser loses $50 from his total winnings for the challenge. For every code a guesser gets right that belongs to the opposing team, the guesser wins $100.
The Encryptors have 24 hours for part 1 and will be the only team members who can view the team forum. After that, 24 hours will be given for part 2, and the guessers will need to contact a mod when they're ready to begin.
