I should not have bid for team captain!!! I don't even know what to do anymore. Can we just reset back to Episode 10, please? I felt much better over there! Nothing much to say about my relationship chart, so I'm going to leave it blank again. -------------------- ReepicheepPrince EdwardPrince NaveenMegaraQueen of Hearts<everyone else> --------------------- --------------------- I moved myself down because I felt like it, idk. I just want this Cash Grab to be over already...

3.I don't really have a favorite joke persay, but one that has popped into my head lately is this one: "Accordion to a recent survey, replacing words with the names of musical instruments in a sentence often goes undetected." I like jokes like that where the punchline is fairly subtle and not really noticeable until you reread it. 4.I wouldn't say I'm that good at survivor, haha, but I've played enough games to give a few pointers. First and foremost, make an attempt to be social! If you give one-sentence responses, don't expect last longer than one round! If someone asks you about your favorite movie, don't literally just state the title. Go into detail about why you like it, or ask them about their favorite movies, or give them recommendations. Even if your small talk comes out awkward, it's miles better than basically having no conversation at all! In addition to this, make sure be fairly active, especially before deadline in case there's some last minute drama / vote switching. Try to forge as many strong relationships as you can. I like to think narrow rather than broad -- a close ride-or-die whom you're comfortable talking extensive game with is much more valuable than a mega alliance that'll inevitably crumble, at least from my experience. Once merge hits (and probably before actually), try to sniff out potential alliances/bonds by examining tribal lines and what names player drop. It's also important to identify the big threats in the game -- these are usually the players you can get along well with and are aligned with virtually everyone. You don't want to play too hard too fast or you'll become a target yourself, and playing too late leaves the window open for surprise immunity wins and idols. Playing somewhere around the middle is usually your best bet, knocking off the weaker links first before cutting out the top dogs. I could probably say a lot more but I don't want this to be too long, so I'll just end off by saying just be yourself. Play a game that suits your personal strengths -- 99% of the time you're not going to be some mastermind that controls each and every vote, and that's OK. Just make sure you have enough agency to make a good case for yourself during FTC. that joke must work better F2F cause I instantly noticed according was misspelled ohh I think I understand survivor now- so like however many rounds you want to last is how many sentences you should respond to people with? that makes a lot of sense. and I bet the reason so many people get eliminated premerge is because they don't have time to write 10+ sentence responses- I love how scientific your method is

I mean, you're the most powerful character in the Disney universe, of course you'd notice it was misspelled! Jokes like that are better for simple pigs like me. :P
Exactly! They say if you write like 100-sentence long posts you can extend past the length of your own game and jump straight into future survivor games! I haven't tried it myself since I don't have the time of that, but that's super nifty!!

Mickey Mouse am I supposed to get a list of concepts or something? It says in the challenge thread that you're ranked the concepts by difficulty but I don't see them anywhere, unless they're only given when the challenge starts? Sorry, I'm not quite sure how this works.

Losing Nick would be worse since at least we're somewhat aligned. Definitely not end-of-the-world bad either way *immediately acts like it's the end of the world* Lol. I think I've regained my composure a bit. Sort of. I'm still really embarrassed about how the teams turned out. I don't think last round will look good on my resume but w/e, everyone has to have their downs. I feel I was just a spoiled piggy all game and this was the first notable upset. A completely avoidable upset, mind you! That's probably the worst part. But hey, we only have two more eliminations to go until finale!!! If I win my $1000 I could care less how the rest of my team does, and the only reason I don't care at all is because of Naveen and maybe Queen. If Naveen was swapped out for Sorsha I'd be 100% good with throwing the challenge, but if I intentionally do that it might piss off Cheep, but I'm certainly not going to help Bud and Blog get their cash! Don't know what the categories are yet, but I'm probably going to order it something like me > Naveen > Queen > Bud > Dog from easiest to hardest. Honestly I'm not sure Sorsha's even doable anymore, but I guess we'll see! Dream scenario is Sorsha goes in the challenge, followed by Dog in the vote. But regardless of what happens I really, really want to push Dog by any means necessary. I'm not going to be buying any 1 on 1s. I feel it's better to just go all in on a good vote chat. Plus, in case the price does jump to a ridiculous amount, I want to be able to afford it. All I need to do is win my $1000 and I'll be good.

Mmm, I'm not sure how much harder the second question is compared to the first. I have a bad feeling my team won't be coordinated and wouldn't know what their doing the first round and cause us to miss the first question. Second question might actually be easier, and if I place someone ahead of me at least it shows I'm not that selfish. Air Bud has not logged in since I updated the time (originally I posted 8 PM PDT, but then I realize I mixed up me & Naveen's time zones, so I corrected it to 5 PM, though I'm not sure if he saw it), but otherwise I think everyone should make it. It'll be nice to finish these up all at once.

I'm actually really peeved at Naveen for popping in 30 minutes before our scheduled time and not giving us a heads up that isn't going to actually show up at our scheduled time. Queen should've actually said if she'd be around at 5 too since she saw the messages. That's just basic courtesy, really.

In the meantime, I've been thinking more about jury votes. I think Cheep and Dog are the only two players that decidedly beat me in a jury vote -- Cheep might not if the jury is bitter, and Dog might not depending on how much they value personal relationships. Bud and Sorsha might get an edge based on relationships but I don't think either have been outstanding gameplay wise, though Bud is a bit more so. Alex is the only player I beat decidedly, and I probably have a fair shot against the princes as well. Megara and Queen are a bit of a toss up, and depending on how much sway they've had behind the scenes I can easily lose to them due to their immense social presence. Sooo dream F4 is probably me/Alex/Naveen/Sorsha? Yep, sounds about right, lol. Maybe swap out Naveen with Bud if I still want my F6, but I'd rather just make it to the end tbh.

I feel so stupid.
So, for my team I pretty much said the opposite of what I was going to do and ordered it Me > Dog > Bud > Naveen > Queen. Why? Well, because it was only the first three at first and I thought if I ranked Dog low he would throw it (which was so dumb of me) and I thought I could still throw it with him second. Well, at the very last minute Naveen finally shows up despite not messaging earlier in the day as a heads up when he was online, and Queen gets pinged on Discord, which I guess I forgot was a thing. And what do you know, the only player who gets their question wrong is Naveen! I should've switched Naveen and Dog, but I didn't, because I was a coward.
Well, screw it, I'm done being a coward. I'm going to assume we did a good enough time to get first and buy a 1 on 1 when I get the chance. I don't care anymore. I just want to do something to redeem myself.

I've decided to choose a 1 on 1 with Megara. I would choose Naveen, but his inactivity recently has been rubbing me the wrong way. I'm assuming that Cheep is choosing me and isn't assuming I'm choosing him! I would really like a 1 on 1 with him, but if we're both thinking the same thing then it's alright thanks to our code. I would choose Edward, but I think there's a decent chance he chooses Cheep, so we could just have a 3-way like that. He could also choose Queen, but if that happens I'd also have a code with him, albeit a weaker one, and I could pull him into a group chat provided we win the team challenge and the elimination challenge isn't that expensive.

Yeah, I had a feeling I should've chose Cheep. Ah, oh well. Dog is the only one who chose a chat with me, which is... interesting, all things considered! He knows I've voted him, which likely came from Cheep. Not quite sure why he told Dog of all players. It makes me a bit anxious!

Am I crazy to think Cheep's trying to blindside me? Idk, I'm kind of getting that feeling! Really wish I would've bought a 1 on 1 with him. I should've prioritized getting a chat with him over trying to play as intricate as possible. Unless Cheep's deadset on blindsiding me, of course. I'm getting just a wee bit paranoid!

The fact you're also the only one of the people that voted for me that I'm aware of may also have something to do with it. That's much better reasoning than Edward's I need him to not get votes at jury reasoning for not voting Nick. I have more issues with the other two voters against me, mostly because I don't know who they are. I knew I was taking a big risk by not nullifying votes last round, after losing two close allies the previous two layoffs, but I went with I knew Queen should still be really annoyed with Nick, therefore it was a good push. ?? OK, so apparently Dog also knows Edward voted for him as well, lol. I think Edward might've told Dog then, which at least means that Edward got my code! But then I wouldn't understand why Edward told him, but Edward does a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense so it doesn't bother me that much. I think Cheep might be working on a coded message, idk, so I'll see if I can get that. Pretty sure Cheep's not actually blindsiding me -- I thought Dog choose me to give me a heads up or something, but if that was his plan he would've told me by now, so yeah.

I've got to think for a bit about whether or not I want to Pay Up. This challenge seems like a nightmare, and my first thought was to Pay Up immediately. That was before I remembered that a lot of players are probably going to be nullifying votes considering it's the last layoff. I'm contemplating buying some votes as well, but it's something I need to think through. I'd love to be able to say I made it through the entire game without ever having to nullify votes, but is it really worth it to put my game in jeopardy? I believe it's much more productive to spend extra money on a solid group instead of nullifying votes, since if you're on good terms with them they wouldn't be voting you anyhow. But it might be a bit different with these 1 on 1s lasting till finale. I highly doubt anybody's going to care about sticking to their vote chats considering there'd be no repercussions from doing otherwise, but it will still be important to get a lot of players on the same page.
I'm contemplating who I'd want to bring into my vote chat. A three-way with me, Edward, and Cheep doesn't sound great on the surface considering all of us can talk in code, but it might be helpful to hash things out, and we can talk about things we really can't through code such as who we have 1 on 1s with and what they're thinking. There might not even be that many options for the vote depending on how many votes are nullified, so if I buy a chat with someone I'm not as close with and they're up against like Cheep or Edward then I've basically wasted my money. I have to weigh out the pros and cons carefully, though luckily I do have like 10~11 hours left to think it all over.

Nick bought a vote chat with her during the round that only 2 people vote chats existed, and then never used it. Yep, sounds like Nick alright, lol. Guess I know why Queen wanted Nick out so bad! Honestly all Nick needed to do was at least be somewhat social, and not quite as clingy! Yeah I have no idea how much people have saved either. I know reep's done a nice spreadsheet of how much they've earned, but there's no way of knowing how much each of us have spent. Omg Cheep, you're just like me! His is probably better than mine b/c I didn't bother sorting out the mess of the encryptor challenge!

Hello I have more questions
1. What is justice? 2. What valuable real life skills have you gained from playing the challenges in this game? 3. On a scale of 0 to 10, how skilled are you at flirting? 4. If you were an oddsmaker in Las Vegas, what odds would you give each remaining player to win the game? 5. Who's the funniest player in the game?

Yay, I love questions!!
1.Justice is basically someone getting their just desserts or punishments for their bad behavior. Like if someone stole $10 from an old lady, justice could be them going to jail for a month as a result. Or maybe the old lady has a really beef husband who beats the pulp out of the thief as a result. That could also be considered justice, although its more anarchical than the former.
2.Not that many, to be completely honest! I'd say the most valuable skill I've learned is how to work as a team and coordinate stuff. I've done that a tad in past Survivor games, but considering there's team challenges the entire game here I got to hone my teamwork skills a lot more, and there's a ton of scenarios in real life where that'll be applicable, mostly in work. And with the scavenger hunt challenge I had to plan my route via bus so I could get as many landmarks as possible, so that'll be pretty useful as well considering I travel by bus a lot.
3.0, lol. I could probably do cute compliments but I don't have any pickup lines or any flirty remarks. Also, I don't really have any drive to have any sort of romantic relationship, so I don't practice it at all.
4.Ooh, let's see!
Air Bud : 60% - He has a good social game and I don't think it's likely he'll be targeted next layoff. If he saves his cash, I believe he'd have enough to take the money slot. If he doesn't take it though, the elimination slot might be hard to grasp since he's not the best at them from what I've seen, and while he has somes allies in jury I don't know if it'll be enough to snag him the jury slot. I feel he performs alright enough in team challenges, but he wouldn't be the one carrying his team, so he'd need a good challenge performer like Cheep on his side to win the final challenge most likely.
Alex Trebk : 25% - He will easily be a target next layoff if he doesn't buy many votes considering no one's close to him. He has to bank hard on the money & elimination slots because there is no way he wins a jury slot in any capacity. He has to be carried to finale in order to make it there, and he likely won't be the driving force behind his team winning.
Dog with a Blog : 60% - He could easily be targeted next layoff, but since it's likely he'd nullify votes that won't matter that much. He probably won't snag the money or challenge slots, but he has a pretty good shot at jury considering the game he's played, provided he gives a good FTC performance. I think his team performance is about average, meaning he probably wouldn't be doing a lot of the tugging on his team in the same vein as Air Bud.
Megara : 45% - She has a fairly good shot at making it to the end. I don't see her becoming a target next layoff, and she has a fairly good case to make for herself in jury. However, she doesn't perform all that well in team challenges from my experiences, so if she wants to win at the end she needs to be paired with some strong competitors.
Prince Edward : 50% - He's about average overall. He likely won't be a target during the layoff, but he doesn't have a great case to make for himself in FTC and isn't that likely to snag the money or challenge slots either, unless there's a lot of money he's been hiding. Provided he does make it to the end, he should perform decent enough in the team challenge, but getting there could be an uphill battle for him.
Pua : 60% - I was thinking about bringing myself up to 70%, but I think that's a bit too high! I might be a target next layoff but I don't think it's all that likely. I won't win the money slot and probably won't win the challenge slot either, but I feel I have a decent case to make for myself in FTC. I perform well enough in team challenges, though sometimes I can be a bit air-headed, but I should be a good enough asset to my team, which will hopefully be me/Cheep/Edward.
Queen of Hearts : 70% - A well rounded player overall. Will likely make through the layoff unscathed, and has a good shot at both the elimination and jury slots. She's a good challenge performer, which will give her team a hefty boost. Fairly likely to win if she survives this round.
Reepicheep : 80% - Is Cheep too high? Idk. He's played an excellent game all around, and is likely the strongest player left in this game. I don't think his chance of taking the money slot is all that great since he's been spending it a bit recklessly lately, but he has a great shot at winning the challenge slot. The jury is a bit of a tossup depending on how bitter they are, but I feel he has a good shot at that too. He's been doing amazing in team challenges, so if he makes it to finale he's fairly likely to win the final challenge.
Sorsha : 40% - I don't think things are looking too great for Sorsha. She's a fairly likely target going into next layoff considering she doesn't have a lot of allies. She has an alright shot of winning the elimination slot, but I don't think she has a great case to make in FTC (though being the longest lasting player with the most votes will give her a slight edge). I don't know how well she's performing in team challenges, but it's probably nothing spectacular, so she'd also have to bank on being paired with strong competitors in the finale.
5.Megara, probably? She's just great all around. Naveen also has a snarky way of putting things that's charming at times. I don't know how best to describe it, really.

I think I've procrastinated too long to actually do the challenge. I really don't think it'd be up my forte either -- I'd probably get a headache after a while! But the real question is what do I do afterwards? With $2000 the most I can do is nullify 4 votes, and that can almost guarantee me a spot in finals. It'd take 7 votes to get me voted out unless the vote is 6-1-1-1 or something. Actually now that I'm typing that out I think it might be a good idea to do that. On the flip side, that means that I can't choose my group for the final round. Well technically I'd have $200 left over, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get the group I wanted with that amount.
So, what if I dump all of my money into a vote chat instead? Is that a good idea or would I just be shooting myself in the foot? I guess that depends on what I want to do this vote. My initial thought was to try and get Sorsha out, but would I really need my own group to do that? Part of me is in a "as long as it isn't me/Ed/Cheep" mentality, but if that's what I'm thinking wouldn't it be better to just spend my money on votes and just leech off of Megara/Dog for the vote? As I'm typing this out I'm just now realizing that I'm not the only one I should be worried about. Edward could become a possible target if I'm not careful, especially since Dog isn't all too thrilled with him.
I also don't know what groups others are bidding, which is a bit worrisome. What if Cheep was already going to get a group with me and I ruined it by bidding higher than him? I have a bit to think about. I know I was completely lost on the vote last round and don't want to be in that position again, so I need to think hard about what I'm going to do.

I have no clue what I want to do! Having all these nullified votes is really messing with my head. Plus, the bids for the groups are probably going to be a lot higher than before, so I don't want my bid to be all for nothing. I also need to rethink how much having a group will really help me. As is, I have two 1 on 1s with Megara and Dog and 2 codes with Cheep and Edward. Dog is unreliable for a vote, but that's 4 votes right there. I'm going to end up in a group regardless as long as I remember to put in my bid since the distribution is likely going to be one of each of 4-3-2. Worse case scenario would be a 3-way between Megara and Dog or a 2-way between one of them, but neither is all that likely. Last layoff I was completely lost on the vote, but that's only because I was placed in the worst group distribution possible, and since I have a 1 on 1 with Megara that'll certainly be avoided this round!
Still thinking about it a bit, but I think I'm going to pay for 3 votes and spend the rest on a vote chat. Would $650 be enough to become a leader with the players I'd want? Probably not, but it's better than nothing. I just don't think getting the chat I want is going to be worth the risk of needlessly putting myself in danger, especially since I don't even know what group I want!

I literally didn't know what to choose. I had Alex instead of Queen for a while until I switched it last minute. I know Queen & Edward probably have a 1 on 1, but I'm afraid a vote chat with Alex in it might get a bit awkward, and I'd want to avoid that if at all possible. Honestly I'm not even sure if it's going to be high enough to impact anything, but at least I have something down! Me & Cheep should still be able to communicate via code so that we can keep each other updated on the vote. Or at least I hope so? I don't know if I made the right choice not including him, but it is what it is. I'm tired of going back and forth with myself over the last 2 hours, and I'm glad I at least decided on something!
