Hello Random Player! You were my favorite person in this game. I made a thread with lots of stuff (hopefully we'll get there) to make it easier to navigate here's a guide to everything important I ranked your character choices!!! 21-30 (I combined the two posts for posterity) 16-2011-156-101-5Things of the day: 8/20/2019Best Answers Competition: Introduction and Q1Q1 Grades and Q2Q1 Results

Lol I think I was quite reasonable in my jury thread, and not toxic. But oh well. It takes a lot to get me to vote someone who stabbed me. I am curious what I did specifically that made you dislike me so I can work on self improvement because I do recognize I'm a poor loser. I'm just confused that it was the jury questioning that made you dislike me and not my cringey final posts.

I am curious what I did specifically that made you dislike me so I can work on self improvement because I do recognize I'm a poor loser. I'm just confused that it was the jury questioning that made you dislike me and not my cringey final posts. Well first, for almost the entire time you were in the game I loved you. I really appreciated you answering my questions, posting in your confessional, and being cool. Don't let my last week of posts overshadow that too much. Second, I think it's safe to say I'm probably in a unique minority when it comes to picking survivor winners. Both on the real show and these forum games, I'm continually disappointed with who wins. It's not just you, I think the only "acceptable" vote made by a jury member was Ralph's. I know I probably unfairly focused in on you when Zack and others were worse, etc. You voted in the almost unanimous majority. I have no hard feelings against you. I just disagree heavily with jurors paradigms. I heavily prefer people who actively do stuff in the game.

You specifically mentioned me both here and in jury spec questions as being the worst and not any of the others so there was clearly something I said that triggered it. I just want to know which posts because I'm trying really hard to communicate in a healthier way online after some recent events and I thought i did a good job with my jury questions and its just disheartening to see i still somehow tick people off with my posts.
I respectfully think you're underestimating Sorsha as a player though.

I respectfully think you're underestimating Sorsha as a player though. I think time was honestly a fairly big factor. Like a lot happened in your jury thread on the 4th and little/nothing else in a lot of the others. So like when I was posting that night you got the focus because you were doing stuff. Just in general you seemed quite a bit more active than Nick and others who didn't do anything. Like it's not fair and I probably should not give nick and others a free pass for being borderline inactive, in fact their inactivity+"bad" votes are probably the worst, but I was lazy. I disagree. Especially, when it comes to the role of a jury member, no matter where you are voting I think you should be open and ask questions of everyone and not hand out free passes to rather inactive people who do nothing.

From my point of view between Sorsha and Reep, I had one who:
At least on 3 separate occasions spent a decent chunk of money to be in a chat with me, actively strategized with me in those chats, making plans to avoid the vote, and fought for me even as I was dying even though it was the minority thing to do. I already knew her game.
The other literally never made any effort to work with me despite being "allies" and ghosted me, and imo essentially tanked his game strategically while doing it.
Queen and Sorsha also had better social games and 95% of the time, social game wins the jury. If the mods didn't want a game where people will pick their friends to move on in the end, they shouldn't have put in a jury. They could have had a spec vote choose the last two, so I honestly don't feel bad for voting Sorsha.

I appreciate that Marvel liked my votes, but really i just voted that way because I felt like Sorsha was on another side of some wall while Reep actively included me in his plan to overthrow the rich folks. I also barely read anything tbh lol

From my POV, Sorsha never had any idea what was going on with the vote and paid up to avoid challenges more than anyone else in the game ever did (playing in only one elimination from Rounds 3-10), which I felt was a poor strategy. During the first several rounds of the game, you almost always had a <10% chance of losing due to an elimination challenge, and all the weaker challenge performers were generally forced to put up regardless, but Sorsha wasted a ton of her money paying up. She was consistently a default vote target because she didn't have much of a social game early on, and could have used that money to foster more relationships. Reepicheep turning on the Rich Bitch alliance is the largest contributor to her making it here, as before that, she fit the profile perfectly of people who were getting voted out: perceived challenge threats who weren't particularly close with a lot of people.
However, I'm saying all of that 1) with perfect information, 2) not having formed personal relationships in the game to base my vote on, and 3) being biased since Sorsha never really used her confessional and I had no insight into whether what she was doing to succeed was intentional. I can't judge anyone for voting the way they did - this is just my perspective of her game. The jury isn't wrong, because they made the decision they made fully within the boundaries of the rules we started this game with.
