I assume I've been named Dog with a Blog rather than Stan because apparently nobody remembers this show.
But I guess last time I watched the Disney channel was while it was still running.
I'm glad to have been able to bring laughter with my choice of character though. and as people work out my ID, well I'm sure it will give everyone another laugh.

Mickey Mouse did my random chat purchase not go through? I know words in there came with conditions, and I'd like to know if that type of thing actually counts. When results came through early, I thought there wouldn't be need to change my intentions.

Oh yeah, the conditional choice wasn't allowed so I didn't mark it down in the spreadsheet, but since results were posted early you would have known you didn't get last. I'll add you to a random chat!

I guess that's also a no to the prawn money. I expected as much that the bank would cease all money connected to eliminated players.

I hope Reep just went and found the one post and didn't look through all of them. Also that I edited away the secret information in time from the post for Sorsha, just in case he did look in the favourite food thread.

I don't think I'm going to get back to sleep now. Why did I even wake up an hour after I received the text message telling me that my shift at work today was cancelled. I'm sort of jealous of the person that hadn't received the shift update yesterday now. It getting cancelled was expected though, as talking to others and the supervisor, we were only ever a reserve crew in case afternoon shift stuffed up the machines or something. As we wanted work though there was a thought they could have been bringing forward one of the jobs scheduled for next week, but as the bosses never told the supervisor that, it was unlikely.

Yes. I'd post about it in the bitch about jobs thread instead of here, but until Ari leaves his job, I don't think anything compares.
I get to go to work now...

Did i make the right choice in not negating any of the potentials votes against me? I don't know, but not playing it risky is something I decided I wasn't down to do. It would put me back into my shell and therefre wouldn't feel like I had a case against the jury. Heck I didn't even need to do it last round, but I'd decided I would after not voting Z&C, because it somehow made me look worried about being left out? Yeah I don't really know.
Codes getting thrown everywhere are a thing, so people needing the extra communication between me & reep to confirm a majority probably isn't actually a thing, but it's an easy one. That is assuming we're actually on the same page for once :P

None of the players that didn't purchase access to random chats nullified votes. Interesting. I guess they're all assuming the game is going to continue voting out threats. Well Ralph was eliminated via the challenge, but it's still interesting.
That or they've decided like me that nullifying the votes here ruins potential jury management. As I'm looking at it as if I was a juror, I would not be rewarding somebody that has nullified votes from going their direction. The one I did last round was therefore a mistake.

As for the vote, well, uh, based on the last votes and sorsha nullifying a bunch of votes, i wouldn't be surprised if your name came up. This means my strategy of picking the two people I consider biggest threats to my game to talk to has hopefully paid off. I do have some doubt about Reep claiming to be picked up by Nick though, that sounds like a fancy way of saying you're not going to be getting any vote information out of me. But I'm sticking with trusting the answer Trebek gave me in the team chat about how much danger I'm likely to be in. I'd have rathered ask someone I hadn't tried pushing out multiple times, but it seems reasonable. I probably should have bothered asking Megara myself though, but with the confusion about that random chat, and me being sleep deprived, well it made sense to me to just focus on the next vote instead of looking in the past.

Hmm, I'm feeling better about trying to approach stuff. It's unlikely to actually end up on me, last round was simply because of me getting left out of the Z&C vote. I'm still active in public, so I'm going to assume nobody has reason to actually cast votes against me. negate 0 votes this layoff phaseI'm going to change this again if I get another chance before deadline. Mark this down as the reason I'm getting voted out. For whatever reason I never acted on that last paragraph (despite having a chance with 6 minutes left on the deadline), because the first paragraph there is what the duck was o thinking.

I can say I would be comfortable voting for Nick. I'm taking that as a no.

I'm not sure if it's more nerve-wracking knowing the deadline just expired, or that I have to wait 3 hours to find out the results.
(When I next have time to browse, you guys should totally post results before that)

If there's a weird chance the vote ended up in a tie, I'll be bidding all of my cash.

Well maybe, it had 40 seconds left on the countdown when I started writing that post.
Now I get the fun of knowing I have day shifts again next week. (Surprise, I actually have a schedule!), And how that they're likely to impact the final challenge should I make it.

Also fun is surviving a close a vote, and having no idea who the last two votes on Nick actually were. I suspect Meg & Queen. But I don't know if Sorsha might have convinced Trebek something, or if Air Bud got Naveen.
Edward was the Meg vote I'm pretty sure, and two of the votes on me would have been from Pua & Nick. So therefore the other options above are things that may or may not have happened.

I also don't actually remember the last time I survived a close vote, was it Doctor Who? DBA probably doesn't really count when it was F4/F3 that could have sent me home.

It does actually feel weird to be so close to endgame right now. there's still 10 people left, but it will be probably over within the next week. I guess it's different from whatever the last one of the final challenge games was because we've still been voting people. Mostly I just have no idea who I can try to send to the jury and who I should be aiming to be the last jury member. The whole another challenge before that vote eliminating someone is going to be hard.

Quiet Day on the front lines. I assume it's because how close we are to most of us not having a say in who wins the game. We haven't even attempted to start discussing the vote. Tbh, I think we're barely even discussing the challenge.

I can only assume everyone is currently doing preparations for face day on Monday. I can't think of any other reason for it being this quiet this weekend.
Well I guess if weirdly mafiascum has developed a love of Aussie Rules Footy, and are all Tigers fans and celebrating after their win yesterday in the grand final.
Actually... Tigers & Mafiascum... have we been attacked?
Constant Vigilance!

Given Edward & Sorsha both didn't get any money from that cash grab, I think that means there will be competition happening in the challenge, and therefore no risk of needing to double nullify votes. But the question stands at the moment if I choose to compete in the challenge, nullfy 5 votes, ($2250 cost), will the resulting $5,412 leftover in my bank get me straight through to the finale? I know Air Bud currently has $3,500 more than me banked (bloody Bitch I'm Rich stopping me from having the most!), and that then asks the question, do I want to end up teaming up with Air Bud at the end? Because that possibly won't happen if I go through with the second most amount of money.
Is 2,412 high enough though? What are others going to be spending on? Will anybody try transferring to get their choice of ally straight into the final?
I know I'll be nullifying at least 3 votes, probably with the maximum spend at 5.
Really it's a case of how well do I feel people are likely to know their morse codes. How well do I know it? I knew using morse code as an actual code was a good idea, silly people shutting me down.
Also how much am I willing to pay to be a chat group leader? can't forget that I'll be doing a bid for that.

Wait there's more questions. What are they doing here?
Was my chat with Pua a worthwhile buy, probably
I see the instructions for this challenge either producing some fancy artwork, or to just post Simon's name after ignoring the rest of the instructions. Is it going to take as long to decode as the warner brother emails?
Should I use paper or the computer to write down the tasks? Will this blog ever get to actually being a lobg because questions are never ending, but you can find out next time in Dog with a Blog's Blog entry, if it even exists.

Serves me right to die here. I looked at this challenge, went off to practice, said that was too hard. Decided to put up anyway.
Like why? I have the funds, do I just not want to win?

I've decided now that the first word was probably visit. So if I had time I'd potentially return to the challenge and try to complete it. But as I have at most 20 minutes to complete my before work routine, not going to be worth.

What I think I need is the ability to double the bribe do Simon "forgets" that I actually started the challenge. But I'm assuming that's not possible. As I would change to just 3 nullified votes if such a thing can be arranged though.
Because the other hope is someone else has as bad hearing as me? Still a challenge I never should have attempted in the first place though.

Looks like I don't get to find out if a miracle has saved me before I get back to work. I guess it doesn't matter, because I've already had enough, and it's my own stupidity eliminating me from putting up with shit I can't do.
Also why is my data being crap, makes no sense at this work site.
